My husband Jason and I have called Eau Claire home for over 20 years.  I worked for Bank Mutual as a mortgage loan officer before staying at home to raise our 3 boys Austin, Anthony and Ashton.  While worshiping at Hope, there was an ad for a part time office assistant.  I accepted that job and in the last 17 years have seen so many changes.  I now coordinate all of our youth programs for ages 3 years to 5th grade and assist in the office as well.  You will also see me at Scheels in Eau Claire where I spend some hours as a cashier.

Spending time with family is priceless to Jason and I.
Our children Austin and his wife Brittany live in Green Bay, Anthony in Blaine MN and Ashton is attending Winona State University.  We travel between the 3 as often as we can and enjoy when they can all come home!  We also love to walk and hike and spend some weekends camping and fishing.

Hope is a wonderful place to work!  The joy that Hope brings to children, families and people is great.  We hope you can join us at Hope where all are welcome!

Paul Brenner

I grew up on the north side and graduated from Regis High School.  Hope Lutheran was my wife Nancy’s church growing up and she attended North so we did not meet until we were adults.  We were married at Hope in 1987 and we moved to Rochester and then St. Paul until we returned to Eau Claire in 2005.  We have two teen-age children, Raeann and James.

I graduated from Winona State University with a degree in accounting and worked for Northwest Airlines and United Healthcare in the past.  I am currently the fiscal manager for the Chippewa County Department of Human Services.

It is an honor to serve as your council president and if you have any questions or comments on things that are happening here at Hope please reach out to me.
